Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 14, 2026. This policy explains how Rise handles your information when you use the app and this website.
1. What we collect
We collect information you provide — account details, custom affirmations you write, and any preferences you set in the app.
We also collect basic device and usage data needed to operate the app and maintain reliability (e.g. crash logs, OS version, device type). We do not sell this data.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide and improve Rise — running your account, saving affirmations, delivering daily content, powering widgets, and fixing issues. We do not use it for advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use trusted service providers for hosting, cloud storage, push notifications, and transactional email. These providers process data only as needed to support Rise and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Rise is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data independently under their own privacy policy.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
5. Permissions
Rise may request access to notifications or other device features to support app functionality. You can manage or revoke these at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications may limit daily affirmation delivery.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to how it is processed. This includes rights under GDPR (EEA/UK) and CCPA (California). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Children
Rise is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of Rise after changes constitutes acceptance.
